
Gin infused with Jambu
On eof the most replicated recipes in the world gets a very Amazonian version. The Jambú-Tônica, the traditional gin adding the ‘tremor’ of the jambú.
Ingredients
Gin preparation
- 1 L Gin
- 15 g Jambu (powdered) Available at hortadaterra.com.br
For the drink
- 1 dose Gin infused with jambu
- 10 ml dry vermouth
- 1 tablespoon olive water
- 1 olive for decoration
- 1 lemon peel twist
- ice
Instructions
Gin Preparation
- Add 1 liter of gin with 15 g of jambú1 L Gin, 15 g Jambu (powdered)
- Leave to infuse for 48 hours.
- Strain and reserve
For the drink
- In a mixing bowl, add the dose of gin
- Add the olive water, vermouth, and the lemon peel twist
- Add the ice and mix it well for a few seconds
- Strain the drink into a previously chilled martini glass
- Decorate with the olive
